AI and your application

Information for candidates applying through Skeeled

When you apply for a job through Skeeled, the employer uses the Skeeled recruitment  platform to manage applications. Some features of the platform use artificial intelligence (AI) to help recruiters organise the applications they receive. This notice explains, in plain terms, how AI is used in relation to your application, and what it means for you. AI does not decide whether you are hired. Decisions are always made by the recruitment team.

How AI is used on your application

AI helps recruiters organise and describe the applications they receive, for example by adding short internal labels (tags) to candidate files. These labels help the recruiter sort and find applications. AI assists the recruiter with this organisational work, it does not evaluate you or decide the outcome of your application.

What information is used

AI features use only the information that is already part of your application:

• the details in your candidate profile;
• the content of the CV you provided.

No additional information about you is collected for these features, and no separate profile of you is created.

What AI does not do

• It does not decide whether you are hired.
• It does not move your application through the recruitment stages on its own.
• AI features are designed to support recruiters and do not replace human decision-making. Recruitment decisions remain subject to human review and responsibility. Any internal labels are organisational notes used by the recruiter.

Human decisions

A member of the recruitment team always reviews applications and decides on next steps.
Recruiters remain fully responsible for all decisions concerning your application.

Your data and where it is processed

The AI features used by Skeeled are designed to protect your data:

• processing takes place within the European Union;
• your data is not retained by the AI provider after a request is processed;
• your data is not used to train AI models.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights over your personal data, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, in the conditions set out by the regulation.
The organisation you applied to is responsible for your application data (the data controller).
To exercise your rights, or for questions about how your application is handled, please contact that organisation. You may also contact a data protection supervisory authority; in Luxembourg this is the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD).

Future AI features

Skeeled may introduce additional AI-assisted functionalities in the future, such as candidate- job matching, compatibility scores or other recruitment support features.
Where implemented, these functionalities will assist recruiters in the recruitment process and will remain subject to human review. This notice will be updated, where required, to reflect any new AI processing activities and the applicable safeguards.
